Copper Harbor offers a variety of things to do. There are tours and activities the whole family will enjoy. Take part in its history, enjoy the scenery and experience an adventure. Play a round of golf or sink 18 fun holes at the local mini-golf course.
Enjoy a tour of the Copper Harbor lighthouse or copper mine. Take a kayak tour or sunset cruise. A visit to a local cemetery or ghost town is like a walk into the past. There are several cemeteries in the area, some with headstones from the early 1800s. Mandan and Delaware are close and full of interest.
The newest addition to the many things to do is a brand new state of the art playground located at the Copper Harbor School. It is the first of it’s kind built in the Upper Peninsula! The new playground is split into upper and lower sections for different age groups. Included in the equipment are multiple slides, climbing rings, a dome and swings.
History reveals itself in several sites as part of the Keweenaw County Historical Society. The Bammert Blacksmith Shop, Central Mine, Eagle Harbor Lighthouse, Eagle River Museum & Phoenix Church and Museum are a few of the exhibits open to the public for enjoyment.
