Copper Harbor is the Gateway to Isle Royale National Park. The Isle Royale Queen IV takes visitors to the cherished island 50 miles away in about 3 hours.
There is sporadic color around the harbor and on the scenic roads leading in. We will be posting photos as soon as the color progresses!

Birding - 9/25 > Fall migrants are beginning to group up in preparation to fly south. We will be seeing the arctic migrants come through soon! The Horned larks are on Brockway Mountain in large numbers. The Cedar waxwings are having their annual "berry eating parties". Hawks are being observed on Brockway Mountain, the numbers will increase rapidly in the next few weeks.
