This is the most popular vista Copper Harbor has to offer. Signs point the way up Brockway Mountain Drive, just off to your left a short distance from the harbor. The absolutely spectacular drive shows the surrounding country, Lake Superior and the village to absolute perfection. It is the highest scenic roadway between the Alleghenies and the Rockies. There are several pull-offs on the way up the mountain. At the peak, there's a small gift shop and a wonderful 360 degree view of the area. At this point you can go back to the harbor the way you came up. Or, you can do the circle tour and continue down the other side of the mountain back onto M-26 for a beautiful drive back to Copper Harbor along Lake Superior.
