The falls are hardly recognizable this time of year. All you can see now is alot of ice and the water running through here and there. In spite of the fact we got about 100 inches less snow this year, the water seems to be running pretty good. I’ll post another pic at the same place in a couple weeks.

This was the 2nd Annual Copper Dog 150 Sled Dog challenge! This year’s race took mushers on an exciting backwoods tour of the Keweenaw racing from Calumet to Eagle Harbor to Copper Harbor and finally back home to Calumet.
The Red Squirrels don’t seem to mind the cold or the snow.

to raise money and awareness.
