4th of July!

Well the fireworks were set off despite the rain. The thunder/lightning was putting on a show of it’s own.

One of the fundraisers for the fireworks this year were laser glasses to watch the show through. I took the following shots through a pair. They made for some interesting displays!

Lake Fanny Hooe

Lake Fanny Hooe
You can still walk on the lake, the ice is thick. It is breaking up along the shore however.
It has been sunny and progressively warmer all week. Keep thinking Spring!
The ice has melted around the shoreline rocks
This is some cool ice where Mud Lake runs into Fanny Hooe
Some melting and re-freezing action around cedar pieces
